Even since i was 250 i have had these man boobs at a young age. since i began lifting about 1.5 years ago, i have made good improvements, but now at 21, im wondering if they are gyno.
Im 5 9, 180, and about 16-18 bf. Now i think that if i reduce my weight, it will go away.
Im just scared because when i bend over, they look really 'booby-ish. I bench about 250 range and i can flex my chest and feel it underneath my fat. But then when i run my hand over my pecs, it starts out nice, and lean at the top, and then curves out and becomes mushy.
any suggestion?

yeah my math teacher is a big guy, and he has big time man boobs, it shakes around when he's walking around the class room and i can see like everyone in the class staring at them with a kind of horror/facination.. i cant immagine living with tits that would just suck...
anyways gyno is a lot more common than most people think, especially when you have a lot of excess bf... you probably wouldnt know if its gyno or fat yet until you start cutting... when you start cutting, and you get to a reasonable bodyfat %, if you dont see the boobies shrinking, then its gyno and you'll have to get surgery...

3. Loose skin DOES go away over time, with the results dependant on a variety of factors, age being a very important one. Younger people have much more elastic skin that is more able to shrink back down as opposed to older people.
Surgery should always be a last resort when all other methods fail, and even then many people wouldn't even consider it. The fact that it worked for your friend (who was in a very different situation) does not mean that it's a miracle cure that you should recommend as a first option to everyone else.

Of course, as I pointed out before, your friend was in and entirely different situation which isn't relevant anyway. The fact that you recommended a solution for someone because it worked for someone else with an unrelated problem just goes to show that you don't know what you're talking about. Take a look at the link Frondz posted; maybe you'll figure out what this thread is actually about. (Hint: it's not about loose skin from weight loss.) And, finally, if this forum is for opinions, experiences, and thoughts, what difference does it make whether I'm a doctor or not? If anything I think the person pushing someone towards surgery should have higher medical credentials.

dzl who the hell told you marijuana adds to gyno? tellyour friends to shut up please. before they further embareass themselves.
Brufiacci- i`m not hacking on you but i don`t think surgery is the way to go yet.it may be later but i`m just not certain of it.
specialbear, first things first congratulations on losing the weight you have already lost! i love to here people accomplishing there goals. i wouldn`t worry if it`s gyno yet, lose a little more weight and then see if it goes away or shrinks. if not you should see a dr about it. good luck bro.

keep goin
dont just think about your chest. widen those lats thicken those traps and shoulders make that skin go to its limit. in other words dont just concentrate on your chest, that same skin is also connected to your back.
i have pics with my face, and no disgrace!
if your bods so perfect than why dont you have pics up?
gaining muscle is easy, its just expensive!
poseing and flexing are two different things!

Most the time it's pseudo gyno, especially if it did not form at puberty or after AAS use. I have a combination of both, from both puberty and AAS use. Mine goes away when I dip below 11% bf, for some people they need to get down to like 6%. Its just pectoral feminization, basically fat accumulation in the breast/nipple area, this also attracts water retention which complicates the issues even more. Use it as inspiration to get below 10%. If you got the bucks get lipo suction. I doubt you have gland, but could be wrong!
nice job on your weight loss...When you're down by the sea and an eel bites your knee, thats a moray.

yea I have the same as you bro. I got it when I hit puberty and I went and seen a doctor. the hard tissue under my nipples hurt like hell and the doctor told me it was gyno. He said it would go away evtually and it has...it doesnt hurt anymore and the tissue isnt really there. I still have puffy nipples however but the problem goes away about 75% when my nipples get hard or im cold. I hope its just fat that I can loose and I am currently cutting whil using the help of Yohimburn ES. It has been somewhat effective..not as much as the people on the website say but none the less. Anyways i ****ing hate it. im embarrased to take my shirt off and **** even though there not that big..but still. i ****jing hate it and it just pissis me off so ****ing much. My cousin had it to so im guessing its in our genetics. figures tho, i have the worst ****ing luck. hate it but im currently cutting and trying to get down to about 10-12% bf. Got 3 months till summer and i plan on doing it!

I was a college athelete and took alot of **** (good natured), many people say they are not bad at all, but they really bother me. My wife of 12 years has never said anything, guys notice it more then the girls. I have gone through the yohimburn ES, in fact I have tried all these in order of effectiveness
Ice cubes (-:
weight loss/hydration (most effective)
nolvadex (long term)
andractim (dht gel)
bromocriptine
deprenyl
Yohimburn ES
lipoderm (same as yohimburn essentially)
Preperation H is supposed to give you temporary relief, I have tried the type with biodyne and without, limited usefulness....
If I had the bucks and had the courage to confront my wife about it I would get some surgery, but like I said, below 11% it is mostly gone and Im the only one that really notices.
Its harder when your younger and people are less mature and more critical, im going on 38 and most of the ****nuts my age look like **** compared to me anyways (-:
One thing I have learned as that people are most impressed with CONFIDENCE. Nobody really cares about your nips but you. Thats the attitude I have ended up with.
good luck my friend.
