    i wouldnt eat THAT much rice at one time if I were you. Carb overload.

    k lets get this straight, cooked theres about 200cals in 1 cup of rice, uncooked about 600. (tonight i cooked 1 cup of uncooked rice and when it was done i had about 5 cups cooked.)

    Stick to wild rice or brown rice. I prefer brown, but both are equally good.

    we are measuring UNCOOKED rice.
    When it is cooked, it puffs up, but the calories dont change from the original amount.
    example :

    you prepare 1 cup of dry rice - 600 cals or so

    you cook it and it comes out to about 3 or 4 cups of rice. It is still around 600 cals.
