for the past month, i havent been able to get in to the gym at all (pretty much no excercise period) because ive just plain been too busy. im keeping a steady weight of 160, im 5'9''...
i usually eat 1 - 2 meals a day, a normal meal for me is about 1000-1200 calories (i eat a lot). i try to eat healthy, but theres only so much i can do when im eatin at a college commons, so my fat to protein ratio is probably about 1 to 2 (thats 1 gram of fat for every 2 of protein). i intake very few carbs, maybe jus a bowl of whole grain cereal in the mornin...this is just a rough estimate...
maybe im just paranoid, but i feel like im rapidly gettin fatter and losing muscle at the same time, as a result of my one month off from working out. so how easy is it to lose muscle and gain fat, doing what im doing.

It's very easy to have your muscle cells REDUCE in size, not vanish, and enlarge your fat cells. The way you're eating, I believe what you're saying. Your body is working so hard to try accomodate your erratic eating patterns.

Practice safe eating - always use condiments.

Eat 6 meals a day (one every 2-3hours), eat smaller portions, a majority of caloreis should come from protein and carbs... ur eaten way too much fat, and at least do push-ups and sit-ups or somthin. U cant give up that easy man, ur goin down the wrong road. Its much easier to go from muscular to fat than it is to do the opposite. Get urself back on track... good luck.
