I would like to praise God for saving my life on Monday.
I was going down the freeway, doing about 75mph, and I tapped the brakes to get back down under the speed limit (70). But the brake pedal went all the way to the floor, NO BRAKES!
I was able to downshift the manual trans a couple of times and get over safely to the shoulder.
If this had been a case where I didn't have so much room around me, this could've been really serious.
So, PRAISE GOD!

Hate to interupt in all the praising going on, but I have a serious question. You all seem to display this eternal greatfulness of Jesus because he apparently was crucified for you sins, so that you may all go to heaven. What about Krishna of India, who was also crucified in much the same way as Jesus? What about Sakia, Thammuz of Syria, Wittoba, Iao of Nepal, Hesus, Quexalcote, Quirinus, Aeschylus, Thulis, and many others who were all also crucified much like Jesus? Are you eternally greatful of them also?

Wow, lucky you had god on your side. One must wonder though why god didn't simply stop your brakes from going out in the first place, would've saved you both a bit of trouble.
