One month I tried doing ONLY low reps (6-10) and gained 3 pounds of mass next one I tried doing half being low reps and half being high reps(10-20) and I gained 6 more pounds do to more muscle pump , and this is what is the true difference between powerlifters and bodybuilders; bodybuilders work for the pump powerlifters work for that extra sag; but it turns out very differently.
Anyways I suggest people to mix it up doing mainly low but also a good variety of high reps and your results will come better; unless you're some ectomorph of course.

Yeah well your gonna make progress no matter what you do, as long as you do somthing. I mean I have a friends. Eats like ****, sleeps like 3 hours a night. Lifts weights half assed every few days. Makes gains. I mean as long as you do somthing you're gonna get bigger and stronger. Not as much as someone who does watch their diet. But still.
Maybe this means you have more slow twitch fibers or somthing though?

I think that my muscles get different co-ordinated effects when I do both... I mean first I destroy the muscle with the low-reps but then with the stimulating effect of pumping up the muscle(till it feels like it will burst through the roof) in combination has a very powerful stirring effect. Yes the core of most of your workouts should be low reps but I believe if you add in some variety the overall result will be better.
