What percentage of your body weight can you bench?
Everybody always posts the "How much can you bench?" threads but I'm curious to know what you can all bench in relation to your own body weight.
I currently weigh 161lbs (cutting) and can bench 285lbs, almost to chest (don't go completely down due to risk of shoulder injury), for a one rep max. That's 177% of my bodyweight.
I know that's decent but by no means the best out there.
What about you?

Wrong. Good form doesn't always mean full ROM. Touching barbell to chest is actually a bad idea with heavy weight.
(And we're not talking about a slight bend of the elbows anyway, we're talking about three inches from chest.)

Yea good form doesn't necessarily mean full ROM but a true one rep max does.

Fine, I'll keep my possibly wrong one rep max and avoid the injury.

just saying that most people don't accept one rep max figures unless it touched your chest i.e. under competition rules
if you're not comfortable doing it, then by all means don't do it and don't get injured. one rep maxes are for your own personal glory, not for the misc
