    can i get a 6 pack without cardio

    hey guys, i was wondering, i have a low body fat ercentage, adn my abs are almost showing, is there anything i can do except for cardio to help them show through more, either supplements or excerces, or any other ideas

    Yes Cable crunches or situps with a plate. You dont have to do alot of these. I have noticed my abs look alot better after i work my obliques.

    your diet needs to be solid, i personally dont think you need cardio other than for heart health. if you weight train and eat right, fat shouldnt be a problem.

    Dont get me wrong, u can do it without cardio but it will be harder. Cardio is there to help.

    since you have a low BF%, yeah, it is possible to do it without cardio. I'm assuming your bodyfat is actually something like 9-10%. weighted crunches, cable crunches, and obliques. but seriously, cardio will help to get it to show so much faster.

    Cardio would speed up the process alot but it should be possible without it since you are so close. I'd eat a clean diet (and count the calories) and do some hard ab training. Lots of crunches, leg lifts, and so on..

    you can for sure. I have a friend, he maintains 5 % all the time. He lifts weights and does like 20-40 crunches each day, not weighted crunches either. You can see his six pack, he does not have to flex it, it shows all the time. He does not eat the best either. He never, never does cardio. His diet is not all that great either. In the end it depends on you. What your genetics are? You say you are already lean? What percent? I pretty much agree with everyone else, just do what my friend does, weight lifts 2-3 times a week, 40 crunches a day ( 20 for lower 20 for upper) he holds each muscle contraction 3 sec, maybe clean up your diet a little. That should do it. god i am jealous of the genetically gifted kg

    that depends on who you are, impossible without cardio for some, difficult without cardio for others, easy for some, with little or no effort. This might be hard for some to believe, but my friend wayne always maintains 5-6% bodyfat, he is a complete ectomorph. On the other hand he really has to work at it to add any mass. Lol, he never has to cut, he is lucky to some degree, i think that if he would ever eat well and up his calories times atleast 2 everyday he could really put on some mass, he just does not want to eat! i wish i had this problem. kg

    yea, but weighted crunches may make his abs stick out to the point he will not like it. I think you are better off trying crunches without weights first, especially if you have never really worked them before. kg

    If you don't want to do cardio. I would do circuit training & fine tune your meals so it is at an optimal fat burning zone. Also, maybe look into a supplement like Lipo 6.
