Struggling To Get Back On Top
Hello Ladies,
How do you do? I know it has been a minute since I wrote in my journal. I can truly say I miss ya!!!
Well I deleted my last journal and starting a new one. Since the last 2 months I have been through so many things, from sickness to my dear uncle death and so on. I am not going to dwell on it because I have to get focus and start fresh. That is why I name this journal ?Struggling To Get Back On Top?.
OK it is time for me to check out some of your journals and see how things are going.

Well today I did two 45-minutes sessions of cardio thus far and did legs this morning. Being I have not really workout hard with weight I took things easy this morning.
Stationary lungs ? 15 x 2 x 12ea leg
20 x 1 x 10ea leg
Leg Extension ? 70 x 3 x 12 rep
Dead Lift ? 70 x 3 x 12
Calves ? 110 x 3 x 20
I could have done more but did not want to over do it. Besides it is TOM and was really not in the mood. My numbers are real low compare to what I am used to lifting. It is all good I will get back to it.

I don't think your numbers are low at all! It's really impressive especially considered the fact that you have had a break!
I'm sorry for your loss! Sounds like the last 2 months have been extremely hard, I hope good things is coming your way now! You deserve it!

HEY GIRL!! You know I've missed you and I'm so happy that you came back.
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on the passing of your Uncle.
I hope your feeling better both physically and mentally and ready to get back into the swing of things. You're gonna feel great, once you get past that initial soreness Take your time, we all know nothing is gonna happen overnight, Lord do we. You had quite a workout already I see, and will surely feel it tomorrow. Yeah!
Thanks for coming back and updating us. Big hugs!

OK I am at the end of my chair and bubbling over with excitement. As you know for the last 2 months I have been through some challenging situations. Nevertheless, one day I notice a position open in another department and applied for the position. The position is a promotion. I found out today that I am one of the top 5 candidates. I am waiting on the personnel office to call me for an interview. They have called one of my contacts for reference. So I will keep update.
I tell you will all the cardio I did this week I should have lost 5 pounds. On Monday, I did 2 sessions for 45 minutes including Legs, Calves &ABS in the morning ? Tuesday 2 sessions for 45 minutes and one 35 minutes session with shoulders, chest, triceps & ABS ? Wednesday 2 sessions for 45 minutes with back & biceps and this morning did a 45 minutes sessions with Legs again and ready to hit again for another 45 cardio with ABS. Tomorrow I will do only 1 session of cardio with ABS. You should already know on Saturday & Sunday I will rest, rest and rest some more. My entire body is sore. My muscles are saying GIRL IT IS ABOUT TIME.
Wow!! It feels so good to get back on track.

Hello Ladies,
I really need to get back in the gym. I would go for 2 weeks doing good and boom stop. It is so hard for me to get back on track. By June 06 I lost 55 pounds and have gain back 15 of those pounds back. The clothes which were loose on me last year are now tight.
Here is the sad part - when I was working out I loved it and still do - also I feel terrible because I can not get into some of clothes. But I guess I do not feel bad enough because I am not doing anything about it right???? Working out by myself to me has gotten bored. I am screaming for motivation and HELP!!!! I have lost my zeal and all inspiration.
I do not want to sound pitiful and just need my motivation back BAD?

Hey! Congrats on the job. I'm so happy for you. I bet it was an awesome feeling to know you got the position. YOU ROCK BABY!!!
Okay on to the working out. What's up with feelin bad being by yourself???? I like workin out by myself. Kinda like meditation time. Time to do something great for me. If you have a friend there all you do is chit chat and can't bust out a good bench press. I'm training with a friend right now and as much as I love hangin out with her, the workouts just aren't the same cause we're always catchin up on things. I take working out pretty seriously, everyone in my family knows not to talk to/with mom when she's workin out (atleast wait till I finish the set to ask a question) Wish I could come to Georgia for a week or two and bust out some weights with you. That'd be fun. I'm doing the Body Sculpting Bible for women workout with my friend and it's pretty cool. You should get the book. I can PM you one of the workouts, or (with that nice promotion) you can get the book for $ 15.00. teeeheeehee just messin with ya..
You should be so proud of yourself for the accomplishments you've achieved. Even if you gained back the 15# that's no big deal, you know what you gotta do and you know how to do it. I know many people that sit on their A$$ all day complaining that they "can't" do what you have done, not with just working out, but with everything you've accomplished. You have a wonderful family, you're moving up at work, and you're on the road to achieving your physical perfection. Sniff, sniff, I smell success. Don't lose sight of your goal. FOCUS WOMAN, FOCUS ! SNAP OUT OF IT!!!
I'm so happy your back. Whoot, whoot Gib's is back!! I don't think you need motivation.... you need a swift kick in the... woah, did I say that out loud... no heeheheh I didn't
Hang in there girl, I'm pullin for ya.

I am trying hard to get to my journal as frequently as possible. With things in the office my time is strength thin; however, I am going to squeeze time in for the journal.
I am getting back on track with things. God I love my husband, who has agreed to starting getting up with me at 5am for cardio. One of the hardest things for me has bee to get back to my regular routine. So I am starting off slow with just cardio and next I am back at it with the weights. I miss the pump I normally get while in the gym.
For the last 3 morning I have been waking up with a dry mouth don't understand why. I am trying hard to get back to drinking a gallon of water a day still has not accomplished that yet.

Things are perking up and I just could not wait until next week to hit the weight. I started it today and loving it. I am really thinking about purchasing Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto. Have anyone read it? The only thing I do not like is it is a e-book. I have read the reveiws and the majority gave a thumbs up. So I will see an tell you about it.

Great job girl! I know how hard am workouts are! They kick your butt! But I always feel so good afterwards, and it's nice that you don't have to think about it the rest of the day. I always used to worry about when I could squeeze time in for my workout.

This is a added bonus because it is so true. Having kids you will never know how your afternoon will play out. Thanks
