At work I don't want anybody to know that I use protein powder so I put the whey in my mug, without letting anyone see it, and then I go to the coffee machine and fill it with coffee. It tastes pretty awesome. Is it okay to mix whey with coffee or could this somehow decrease the effectiveness of it? What if the coffee is too hot? Could the whey be denaturized?

Doesn't your protein lump up when you mix it with hot liquid?
That's what always happened to me the few times I've tried it (and with different brands). No, I'm not Taiwanese.

Don't use hot hot coffee, but I think you are safe thow because the temperature would have to be hot enough to burn your mouth to denaturize whey...
Morning drink for me: cup of warm coffee mix in cookies and cream iso whey(mixes the best this whey), cup of water and ice...off to work
I think you have other issues though besides the whey, if you don't want people to know what you are doing, personally I just tell people I am addicted to milk shakesFat Man Typing

Protein Type
Proteins, as with anything your body processes (Carbohydrates, fats, ect.), are processed differently based on their molecular structure. If you denature a certain type of protein there is a good chance you aren't absorbing as much, or at least you are changing the biochemical pathway that the protein goes down to be absorbed. No question is a stupid question to the person asking. Keep asking questions my friends!

epic bump!
that being said, its perfectly fine.
I pour about 20oz of coffee + 1-2 scoops of Protean into it. you dont have to add cream or sugar.
iForce Brown Sugah maple oatmeal cookie or Vanilla work fantastic. also would suggest dark chocolate flavors ie iForce choc truffle or SAN Chocolate Rocky Road. they add a nuttier flavor to it.
