And people say Phil Heath is the future of bodybuilding...
This dude is 22 look at him, and I know there have been threads on him already so no need for "repost repost" ****, I hadn't seen this particular pic before.
Bodybuilding is all about image not numbers, when you're up on stage your lifting stats and bodyfat % means nothing to the judges.
Nationals this year will really show us whether or not he is "the future"...b/c until this point, the only big show Trey Brewer has competed in has been the Emerald Cup...which is a big show, but very different from a National level show.

Yeah, he has plenty of potential, but I have learned my lesson from Alexander Federov: I will not praise a man for having potential, until he lives up to at least some of that potential, ever again.

Keep in mind that his strucure is similar to Branch Warren's. If he doesn't work really hard to remedy that, then he could end up with the same kind of showings and be inconsistent. However, it seems he is currently working really hard to bring up his upper body. The only thing that remains is to see if he can live up to his potential.
"...that's the great virtue of the free market, of the private market. It enables people...who hate one another...who don't speak the same language...who would fight one another if they had the chance, to cooperate economically. We were able to deal with China when China was a communist state. Even though we thought that that was a terrible arrangement, we could still cooperate. And that's what markets enable people to do. They bring freedom with them."

His legs are incredible for a natural, but those Biceps have zero peak, and the Tris look flat, great symmetry though.
Edit: I misread a post(no natural)
Bodybuilding has been advanced through anecdotal knowledge. Studies are over-rated. Experienced BB'ers understand training far better than scientists.
I've always had the belief that if you want to be where somebody is, then do what they did...the real experts are the ones that are in the gym getting the job done. Those are the people that you need to listen to. – Dave Tate

He has a great physique, no doubt. However, he has yet to prove himself against quality competition and his shape is awful.

Agreed - he was a much better football player.

You misread the title, but still thought he was 'natural' anyway?
yeh ive gone to festivals stacking clen, diaretics, dropping my water and having lots of drugs and have ended up fine. This year not dropping any diaretics and no clen, gonna come in to the festival looking very full and carbed up and around 8% bf

Didn't he start juicing at like 13? That is probably why he is so short.
where did you hear that? i've seen pictures of him competing with his mom and she's really short, too...so i'm assuming it's genetic.

he also has a long torso, which isn't necessarily bad, but he has to make up for it with more width, etc. he looks pretty good from the front, but from the back he's lacking a lot of width and his back double bicep (at least at the emerald cup) needs a lot of work, too (needs to dry out, needs work on posing, needs just a lot of work, but thickness is sick).

he is the future all right, his shoulders remind me of ruhl but with a waistline comparable to dexter jackson. a little more leg size and overall back thickness and width and he is a serious mr o contender
