Haircut
So I just went and got a hair cut tonight. Nothing too drastic just a trim and some layers. Anyway does it seem weird to anyone when the stylist talks to you. I know they have to say something to you but there are times I just want to sit there and be quiet.
I love when people play with my hair and comb my hair it is very relaxing to me. So I just want to sit there and get my hair brushed, cut, and then I will be on my way.
Does anyone else have the same thoughts or different.
Oh and then she got into the conversation about what shampoo I was using and was obviously trying to get me to buy some product. But while she was talking about it was I wondering what other people uses on their hair such as shampoo's or styling products that you think are awesome. Right now for my shampoo and conditioner I am using Fructis. What is everyone else using????

Here in the south, anyone who is anyone and wants to know anything has to talk to the stylist. Those things you see where the salon women know all the gossip and crap is 100% true around here. So yeah, you're stuck talking to the woman the entire time you get whatever done.
I like to swap stuff around every now and then but have always been a hyuuuuge fan of Herbal Essence...

I'm a Frutis gal. Every now and then I splurge on a salon product like Biolage.
I hear you on just enjoying getting the hair cut though. But I think for most people the act of getting a hair cut is kind of intimate, so people feel odd touching someone's hair without having a friendly chat.

LOL....after a good shampoo I always require a kiss on the cheek, or a Happy Meal, that could count for dinner. LOL...jkjk!!!!
I love to just have someone run their fingers through my hair...my husband does this all the time, almost subconsciously at times. It drives his mom nuts ("You're gonna pull all her hair out!") but I think it's incredibly sweet He just can't keep his hands off me, LOL.

I like it quiet and I like the feeling of a massage too. I hate it when the stylist can't get the hint and STFU.
I've taken to telling the person up front that I plan to doze off. This often cuts short any talkie-talkie bull****.
