Can Whey protien shakes be used as replacements for meals?

    Hey,

Well im having a real problem getting all these meals stuffed in, i only have time for 3 meals really, but if i took a couple of portein shakes in between, do they count as meals?, and fruit, like a banana, does that count as a meal? (sounds stupid, but everyone says to have lots of small meals, so im not sure)

    cheers

if you mixed the banana in with the shake you could probably count that as 1 meal but dont use that for more than 2 meals a day if you are eating 6+. Try to get about 4 good meals from food and the other 2 as a protein MRP

They could but whey protein is a very fast absorbing protein. It should really only be used pre/post-workout.

As for your question on small meals, if you add cottage cheese to the fruit or some almonds then yeah, that could be considered a small meal.
