Creative Marketing. If it has less than 5 calories from sugar a serving, it's legally sugar "free".

That guy was a pure moron. He just pointed you to what he though would be a great substitute for making strawberry jam or something lol.

But while it is true that jam can both be made from gelatin or pectin, both are totally different compounds. And pectin must be avoided on keto, at all costs !

Your grocery must have gelatin. All groceries have some here and it comes in small sachets (like sugar on a restaurant table) sold in orange boxes of 10 sachets. The guy probably just had no idea he had some.

Oh ****! Well I used it in the gummy worms thing. It didn't seem to kick me out of keto, but I'm no pro at telling yet The gummy worms didn't taste bad, but they were quite tart. So I guess I won't do it again. haha. Ya I thought they would have gelatin too, but I looked EVERYWHERE and then had to ask. It was Safeway, maybe I'll check Albertsons.. Thanks though!

No prob. Honestly, i don't know american groceries, but here in Quebec all of them have gelatin. Here's a link to the product you're looking for :

    http://www.kraftfoods.com/knox/

The box is a little different here but it's the same thing.
