Testosterone Problems
Hey guys...hope every one is having a good hump day....well heres the problem...basically i have undecended testes. I have a 0 sperm count but besides that everything is normal. Testosterone levels are above normal..in the 800 range. My endocronologist told me not to take anything that will shut down my natural test. Now my question is...is there anything that does not affect your T levels that much?? Winstrol?? any info will help...thanks

wow, it's been a while but i'm comming back to this issue. I agree that an 800 test level is great but you have to remember that i grew up with this high test level, so my body is used to it. So with that said, i am affaid to take any juice that will screw around with my test. Any ideas or comments?

Why did your endocrinologist tell you not to take anything that would affect your natural production? I'm not sure if undescended testes puts you at higher risk for your own natural production to not return or not. Point is, if your endo told you that I'm sure he/she has a good reason. It's not worth it to take a cycle of whatever if that means you'll have a very good chance of permanently shutting down your natural production and having to be on HRT for the rest of your life.

true but my endo is extremely againts gear. I think it was a scare tactic more than anything. I need to find a doc that will respect my wishes and give me positive advice and not just try to scare me out of something.

Ok, so does anyone have an answer to this? Why would my situation be different?
They are smaller than normal, and are in a high temperature area (hence the no sperm count) and above average test levels.

You do realize if your testes are undescended you cannot have children, like ever. You probably do know that, already, you are also at higher risk of getting testicular cancer. You should have been treated for this before the age of two.
Most times the treatment in older people is removal, followed by TRT. When left where they are your risk of developing cancer is high, surgically descending will not do anything for your sperm count, and the risk of developing cancer is still there. I wouldn't be using any gear if I were you, discuss it with your doctor, personally I would have them surgically descended, at least then I could check for lumps. I'm sure being castrated would do nothing for your confidence.

You are correct, I do know this. I have regular check-ups every 6 months. My urologist is against bringing them down, why? i don't know. He says the only difference would be that i would be able to check them from behind(right now i can only feel one side of them (top)). My reaction was " wouldn't that be a smart thing to do, seeing that i'm at a higher risk?" All i got was a "no nod". Also about bringing them down was an issue as well. He said he doesn't know if the ductus deferens are long enough to reach into the sac. So i am kinda at a stand still.
But thanks for your reply and the info. I guess i'm going to have to keep it natural for now.

It doesn't matter how long your ductus deferens or vas deferens as we refer to them in Australia are, you have no chance of producing viable if any sperm, so they can be cut. My reasoning behind having them descended is for both cosmetic reasons, and for you to be able to self check. 6 month gaps between checks can be too long for some aggressive cancers of the testes, I just don't believe it is worth the risk. It is either that or complete removal, you can have prosthetic testes inserted into your scrotum for cosmetics. If you want to keep the vas deferens intact then microsurgery to lengthen them is an option though not recommended as it will serve no function. After 25 years of sitting in high temperatures the testes will not be functional in a fertility sense. The best option IMO and it is just my opinion I am not a doctor of medicine, I am working towards a Ph.D in Exercise and Sports Science is to be castrated, you remove the risk of testicular cancer and the thought of that in your mind. Going on TRT at 25 for life might sound drastic but it is the best option. The next best thing is to have the vas deferens cut, and for the testes to be descended, but due to the amount of time at the high temps your risk of testicular cancer is increased.
At the very least get the vasectomy, and get them descended.
If you have a missus I hope she is very understanding, I know how difficult it can be talking to a woman about such issues, low testosterone she thinks I'm having an affair, yada yada yada.
Good luck mate.

No you are being very helpful and i greatly appreciate it. Acutally I am married, been with her for 8 years married 8 months now. So she knows whats going on, i told her way in the begining just in case.
I wouldn't mind getting rid of them but the injections for life is a bit of a drag. I guess i just have to think about it.
Once again thank you for your opinions.

HRT is only one shot per week anyway isn't it? That's not bad if it decreases the risk of cancer.

one shot of testosterone cyp, a week you wouldn't have to worry about LH suppression, or test supression. Personally I would have them removed no risk of testicular cancer then, I'm sure it would play on your mind.
Best of luck in what ever road you choose to go down, no one can make the decision for you it has to be your own.

You have 0 sperm count and your endocrinologist told you not to take anything that will shut down your natural test.
Yet you still want to take AASs...
Huh?
