Any danger for my 6 year old to take cytogainer
My 6 year old son is in perfect health but has been stuck at 39 pounds for about a year. I drink 3 shakes a day and eat a lot too and still can't get past 150. Is there any danger to mixing him a shake using about 1/4 the amount of powder? I don't see how it could harm him but his mom is concerned. Any input, especially from a dietician or nutritionist would be greatly appreciated.

Up And Out
All it is, is whey protein and carbohydrates (maltodextrin). I believe there is also creatine monohydrate in the formula as well. So long as he is consuming enough water I wouldn't be worried in the least.
That said, is his diet up to par? Or even, is yours? Could you post a typical daily diet that you follow? By my calculations, you'd be want to taking in somewhere in the ballpark of ~2,750kcal./day in order to effectively gain weight.

C'mon man, he's only six. It may not hurt him but it's not designed for kids. A six year old has not finished developing in any way shape or form. I think you should leave it alone, but if you are really concerned, take him to a doctor or a nutritionist, not a Forum.

Give him Cell Tech.... He will be ready for the NFL in about 7-10 weeks.

Dude :S .... that's just wrong ..... it's like .....
I dunno ....
In my opinion don't do it ....
If you want your kid to get jacked ... let him do some body-weight exercises and down some oat-meal with milk ! ( on a daily basis )
EDIT : Almost forgot ... you know there are controversal arguements about creatine and your health ... it can help you but have some negative side effects as well ... and you do realize if you give some to your kid , where his liver and kidneys aren't still strong enough is just totally a stupid idea ...

I wouldn't do that. Encourage him to eat more meat, grains and drink more milk.
Try multiple meals if he has trouble getting it all down at tea time.

OR
Take him to the doctor and if determined under weight you can get a script for a product called Scandi-Shake (most insurance companies will cover).

Easily Confused
If you have a 6 year old who hasn't gained weight in almost a year you need to make a visit to the doctor's office, not the local GNC

exactly. Sometimes I'll add a tsp of ON whey to my kids choc milk.
I wouldn't give my 6 yr old creatine.
