Ibuprofen and Protein Synthesis
Ok so I've had really bad foot problems for over a year now. My heel gets really inflamed to the point where I have to walk on my toes because I can't put any of my weight on my heel. I went to a specialist and he prescribed me to take 600mg ibuprofen pills, 3 times a day.
This is obv. a lot of ibuprofen, and I don't want it having any negative effects on muscle building. I've done a lot of searching for more recent sources, but I can't find much. My questions :
-Will it affect protein synthesis less if I just take the pills in the morning and at night (not around the workout time)?
-If it's going to seriously hurt gains, what replacements do you recommend?

Try something like grape seed extract, glucosamine/chondroiten, and cissus quadrangularis extract. Super cissus RX is the best right now, I think. It can heal your joints and tendons and stuff. Also, take a week from doing anything that puts stress on your feet. Don't become dependent on ibuprofen, all it does is mask the pain. Heal yourself.

X2.....IBUprofen will hinder gains. Remeber, it stays in your system up to 8 hours, so if you take it in the morning and at night, that's 16 hours it's in your body. That only leaves you with 8 hours.

I would really try to take as little as you can, and look into an alternative. Like someone allready pointed out, cissus would be a good one.
