With cheat curls, it is much easier to injure your back, so yes, they are bad for your back. Try to keep good form and you'll develop much better than with bad form.

if you do them like a retard, then yes. done correctly though is a good way to add some strength in the biceps.

Yup, they're fine as long as you cheat properly, not excessively... using a little momentum to move heavier weights has done probably the most for my biceps, but it's the people who barely move the weight and bend half ass backwards basically cleaning the bar that don't know what the hell they're doing.

They may not be very good for your biceps, however.
What a lot of trainees call curls, are actually curl grip hang cleans. I'd do them back to the wall or rack, with no body english, nice and slow.

Standing Good Morning Curls are not good for your back, but if you have a strong back it can take it. Certainly less stress than standing rows, for instance.
