Unhappy Pain in both knees when squatting!

I don't know what to do. I have days where I cannot even squat down for a few seconds to pick something up for example because both of my knees immediately hurt and especially when I get up it hurts but also when I simply squat down and stay in a squatting position. But there are also days where I have no pain it's really strange. I have had an MRI of the knee which hurts most and everything was okay. But if everything is okay why does it hurt? I cannot be normal that you cannot even squat for a second without pain.
I also did a blood test to test for rheumatism but it was negative.

same problem for me. so, i did what everyone is going to tell you to do on here. i watched my form, i looked at a hundred instructional pages of how to do them correctly, i lowered the weight.. still felt like my knees were going to snap after doing them (and ive been lifting for 7 years).. some body types just arent made for certain exercises.. i stopped doing them. everyone on here is going to freak out and tell you just to work on your form, but to me, no matter how much other people love a certain exercise, its not worth the chance of me ending up with a lifelong injury. just my .2

I can do horizontal squats in the machine without any problems but I cannot simply squat down and have no tension on my muscles you know what I mean? The way you squat when you want to pick something up or draw something in the sand where your thighs touch your calves. I cant do this without pain.
