ElrahPrime's Workout Log

Alright, this is my God knows how many log I've made so far, but I know it's a lot. Well... I decided to make another log because I actually miss doing so, and I want to see if there's anymore improvement. It's kinda odd that everytime i do a log, I do see some sort of increase in my workout and then when I stop making log, I don't see that much increase. Well, I hope that all changes.. Here are my stats..

Weight: 164lb
Deadlift (Raw): 575lb
Olympic Squat: 45lb
Bench Press: 375lb (Notice how I went down in my bench press from my previous log.. That was mainly because my shoulder was hurt and I stop depending on NO X-plode).

Anyways... yeah, I'm back in making logs in BB.com forum I guess... I've been playing way too many damn Final Fantasy XI .. God, I'm such a nerd now. I might have to seriously start playing FFXI less now.

Alright, here's my session from last night... It was pretty good.. I hit a new PL on deadlift and I was pretty happy about it. Not sure if I should go for 6 plates... Hmmmmm....

08/21/07

7 sets of Deadlifts (chalked but raw)

5 reps of 135lb
2 reps of 315lb
1 rep of 475lb
1 rep of 575lb x 2 (PL)
3 reps of 515lb x 2

3 sets of Good Mornings

8 reps of 285lb x 3

4 sets of Chin-Ups

17 reps of BW
3 reps of BW + 45lb x 2 (short rest)
13 reps of BW

4 sets of Close-Grip Pull-Ups

10 reps of BW
4 reps of BW + 45lb x 2
10 reps of BW

3 sets of Bentover Barbell Rows

10 reps of 225lb x 3 (Had no straps :S)

3 sets of Incline Lever Rows

10 reps of 135lb (3 45lbs)
3 reps of 160lb
6 reps of 135lb

3 sets of Bentover Dumbbell Rows (no rest between sets)

9 reps of 85lb
6 reps of 85lb
4 reps of 85lb


I had to rush, because the gym was almost closing, and yeah, I really hate rush exercises.. Other than that.. I'm really happy I hit a new PL on deadlift, so I give this session a 9.1/10. I hope my deadlift can start improving.. Perhaps, I'll try 585lb next time if I can really feel it. Anyways, I'll be doing olympic squats in my next session.

1 rep of 455lb x 3
1 rep of 425lb (paused for in a count of 5)
3 reps of 405lb
2 reps of 405lb
6 reps of 365lb
10 reps of 315lb (1st 2 reps were pause, then solid with no explosion, then last 2 were pause again)
2 reps of 365lb
7 reps of 315lb or 'til failure

3 sets of Leg Extensions

15 reps of 260
15 reps of 260 + 2 weight bumpers (both being 15lb each)
15 reps of 260 + 7 weight bumpers (3 being 15lb, the rest being 5lb each)

3 sets of Leg Curls (no rest between sets)

4 reps of 130lb
4 reps of 110lb
6 reps of 90lb


Pretty mediocre workout. I give it a 7.5/10. I was pretty exhausted doing olympic squats as always. I'm not going to be moving up anytime soon until 455lb feels easy. Next session, I'll be working on deltoids and calves which I haven't done for a very loooooong time.
