People can give or take away rep points. If you post something stupid/gross someone might neg rep you which would take some of your rep away. People with more rep can add/take away more rep points then people with lower reputation.

Specifically, clicking the little "scale", in the lower-left corner of each post (next to the red triangle) brings up a Rep entry box for that person.

What I don't understand is how people get so much rep power? Like when they neg rep you, you get into deep reds.
"OBSESSED" is the word lazy people use to describe the "DEDICATED."

Like is said if they have alot of rep power they can do alot of damage. The people with thousands of rep power participated in the "rep whore thread". This was where people were trading reps instead of earning them.Originally Posted by aikurushii
