    Fish Skin

    I buy and grill whole fish. And I enjoy the skin, and have never given it much thought...until now.... But is it full of fat?

    That's where most, if not all of the fat is...unless the fish happens to have incredibly marbled flesh.

    Salmon is an exception - there is still lots of fat in the meat itself - all that white stuff you see when you cook it in between the 'flakes' - thats fat. Go on fitday or nutritionaldata.com and look it up - you can find info with/without the skin.

    If you like the skin, eat it and fit it into your macros. It's one of the best sources of fats you can eat.
