yes you can make a big turn around on your legs in just 6 weeks.
I just competed aug 11th in my first bodybuilding show. I didn't dicide to the contest untill 6 week out from aug 11th. my legs where lagging.by the time it was the day of the contest my legs where equally porportioned with the rest of my body.Everybody that I have showede pictures to where like dam i didn't know your legs where that big. How I accomplished this was by changing my leg routine and intensity. I split my legs up to quads and calves on tuesday evening and hamstrings and calve in the mourning on saturday. My legs responded very well to this type of training my legs are better than ever. You know your legs are lagging do something about it its not to late.

thankyou for your advice again brad , sounds like you went well on stage congratualtions on that!. i currently train quads with hammis and calves on another day so i may try what you did after this week. but your right about mixing up the intenisty ive been doing that and noticed improvements past 2 weeks and will keep smashing them.

Some people support it some don't all I know is they have worked wonders for me: INTERVALS, my legs have acutally grown significantly WHILE CUTTING doing intervals and also have worked wonders for my separation and definition. I think anyone who leaves these out is missing out on a lot, I'd use both a bike with resistance and outdoor sprints on slighly inclined surface. IMO these are your best option at this point. Good Luck gettin them wheels up :thumbs up:

My legs didn't really come in until about a week and a half before my show. I totally agree with the HIIT. I do mine on a recumbant bike. Another thing that helped me was psoing my legs many times a day. They are tricky to pose, but hitting and holding the isometric contraction as long and hard as possible helped me as well. Now that I'm 3 weeks into my second prep my legs are ahead of my upper body.

Sure, start with 5 minutes of a light jog to warm up, then for the last 15 seconds of each minute you will sprint all out. For example you warm up for 5 minutes then continue to jog until 5:45, you then sprint all out til 6:00 then return to jog and repeat for the desired amount of intervals you'd like to do. Remember to end with a light jog or walk for 2 minutes as a cool down too to let your heartrate return to baseline. That wasn't too confusing was it? hah

No problem my friend. Personally I would do 2 HIT 2 moderate, see how it works and go from there, I think that would make a noticeable difference though.

I did legs 2x a week to bring my legs in. Mine also did not come in until the 2weeks until the comp. I think you really have to hit those trouble bodyparts so much harder, so i would really be focusing on the legs.

everyone has a bodypart that comes in later than others! My legs start looking better before anything else, same with abs. But my back and lower back is the last thing to come in.

Also don't men tend to hold a good amount of water in there legs ? It is our biggest muscle , ofcourse diet and training effect the final outcome , but the biggest changes come towards the end of our prep.
My love handles , legs , seem to be the last to come in when water is reduced.
And i have still yet to show up my best(water/Diet) , but it's coming , trial and error.
Good luck

Do you mean catch up in size or in how ripped they are or both?
If you are refering to size you probably won't be able to increase the size any appreciable amount in that short of a time frame.
If you are refering to how ripped they are, YES they will probably catch up.
Your last leg workout before the show(if it is on a Saturday) should be the Sunday (or very latest Monday) before the show.
Good Luck!
