How Often Do You Do Cheat Meals/Snacks?
So Its been about 4 months since ive been on my supposive "clean bulk", and I have yet to treat myself to a true cheat meal/day/snack. SHOULD I?..I mean I know id love to be at ColdStone Creamery with my family and be able to order ice cream, and not sit their like jerk!..And also be at a place that serves a nice sloppy burger, and be able to eat it!..How often should I allow myself to cheat?..every week, month?..every other day?..what are some of your rules/guideline that you have for yourself and cheating?...Also, when you cheat, what is it generally? thanks everyone.

Once a week cheat,
Guidelines-I dont have any, I eat whatever I want. One day a week wont hurt as long as your consistant the other 6.
I go to cold stone all the time, and if its not a cheat day I get there fat free sugar free ice cream and have them mix fruit in it. Still good for you. If its a cheat day ill get what I want.

There's no such thing as a cheat. Eat whatever you want and fit it in with your total calories / macros.
Edit: I just saw that you are 5'9 and 100lbs. In that case, the word "cheat" should not be in your vocabulary and you should indeed be ordering that ice cream at "ColdStone Creamery" unless you want everyone to think you're anorexic.

I live by the 90-10 rule. I eat clean 6 days a week and I always have one day were I cheat. Nothing to crazy but by no means clean. The 90 -10 rule is doing things clean and right 90% of the time and the other %10 percent is whatever. Try it out for yourself. It's a good balance.

bro ur 15 years old and ur depriving ur body of nutriton..
why would u do this? im just curious.. go out and enjoy what u eat.. ur in the most important stage of ur life growing wise.. u shuold not worry about ur diet seeing ur underweight at 110 lbs at 5'8 .. and concentrate on eating a wide variety of foods getting as much minerals / vitamins / nutrition in ur body as possible
dont deprive urself when ur body is trying to grow in the most important stage of ur life
now to ur question.. people reccomend a cheat meal once a week to keep their sanity, but u dont have to if u dont want it
cheat meals throw off the metabolism and is actually healthy ( READ THE BODYBUILDING SITE UNDER THE NUTRITION SECTION) this questinon has been asked 100x times.. its all on the website, but everyone refuses to read it
i would suggest having ur cheat meal when ur out with ur friends or family out to dinner or going to get a dessert instead of eating what u normally do.. instead of some PB and Cottage cheese before bed.. have urself a nice vanialla ice cream blizzard topped with some fruit and peanut butter or something like that.. go to a chinese buffet whatever..
whatever u feel is necessary and not hindering u from what ur trying to do bulk/cut etc.. but at ur weight/height/age.. u shuolndt be worrying about this.. just eat and enjoy ur teenger years and especially when ur body is growing/chaning the most

I call my approach "eating sensibly". I eat decent most of the time, but am not afraid to treat myself more frequently than the typical "one meal/day a week". If I'm cravin something, I'll have it, I just remember to keep everything in moderation.
The way I see it, I ain't preppin for a contest, I'm simply exercising/eating right to look good. Why not live life while doin it?

Once a week 4 me . . .
I usually do it at a late lunch on Friday w/ friends from work . . . we make it late b/c we won't be going back 2 work
Ur idea of a nice big sloppy burger & some kind of massive ice cream creation w/ chocolate fudge sauce sounds like a terrific cheat meal.
That covers the greasy burger group, the chocolate group & the ice cream group, three of the foundation stones of the cheat foods pyramid
j/k . . . go ahead and enjoy this meal with your family & don't worry or obsess over it

Like others said, ENJOY! You are 15 man. Take advantage of that metabolism. Let's talk in ten year when you are my age wishing you had a 15 year old metabolism.
Cheats can actually help your gains if they don't get too crazy.

Now see thyere lies the problem. do NOT be obsessed over your abs. Your 109lbs of course you have abs bulk man forget about them for awile focus on some nice lean mass and then when your like 140-150lbs and want abs start working on them but dont loose any of the muscle you gained. Of course still work on them through out bulking but dont focus on them and worry about loosing them. Your at a very dangerous weight right now and need to bulk up. I would suggest seeing a doctor and making sure all your blood test are ok and heart rate and etc is fine.

Your taking this too far, I dont need no doctors, and blood tests, etc. Im perfectly healthy in that way, and just need some more bulk to my frame, and I am on the job right now!..I will go enjoy my cheats from now on, but theres nothing wrong with being upset that it will affect my abs..

hate to break it to you man but your nothing but a bone rack really, and those abs have no muscle tissue on them they noly show because theres nothing there, you need to put on about 20-50 pounds of lean mass, and just keep a consisten ab routine if your so worries about em, i work my abs 7 days a week cause im a freak about them. dont deprive yourself of food to keep your stomach looking like that put on some muscle and build some actual abs

oh they won't be visible like whatever you have now , only after you cut the fat that will build up over them will they be visible again once you pack on the weight.

whenever i want.
i don't think one should limit oneself to a # of cheats.. just eat well and eat crap when you want to eat it... the trick is to not WANT to eat it. It's been 2yrs, and i'm starting to get there

Honestly bud, at 15 - eat everything in sight-- HUGE, lift BIG... youll pack on some SERIOUS mass, while still metabolizing practically everything you stuff down your throat.
Id take advantage of that while you can still gorge yourself. Worry bout cutting fat when your 24+ and have some fat to cut.
...why you still reading this? EAT!

Mate no offence, im the same height as you and weigh 25lbs more than you, I consider myself to be VERY skinny. You seriously need to start putting on muscle (and dare I say it even abit of fat) fast. It's all very well 160lb+ people telling you to cheat once a week, but at your weight every meal should be a cheat.
Just eat everything insight and forget about your abs, girls won't be impressed by your abs if your skinnier than them. I don't mean to sound like a prick but you seriously need weight fast, like that other guy said, you should maybe visit your doctor.

Probably about 3-4 cheat meals a week.
When I cheat though I try and eat something that has a good balance of protein, carbs, fats. Like pizza, tacos, hamburgers, etc. I try not to binge on stuff with no nutrition value like sweets, candy, cake, cookies, chips, etc.

i eat clean 6 days out of the week and on the 7th day i eat clean here and there with bad stuff spinkled in between. works nicely. i also throw counting cals and macros out of the window on my cheat day.
