Too much cottage cheese???
Is it possible to eat too much non-fat cottage cheese when trying to lose weight and make sure I get the proper amount of protein?
I find it a very easy food to bring and eat at work - add in some berries or half an apple and its heaven...

I eat around 2-3 a day when I feel like it, don't think it's a problem.

No, just as long as you're not eating over your macros for the day, it's fine. Although I would recommend getting some variety in your diet as far as protein goes, cc could get kinda boring...

have to agree about getting variety.. the mroe variety u get the more vitamins / minerals ur body will get and help u grow!
try to vary up ur protein sources.. bring some tupperware with some chicken or get some canned chicken / tuna.. maybe bring some eggs from home.. left over salmon/ tilapia froma dinner doesnt hurt
the more variety the better and u wont get burned out on a food

I average about a small container a day. I think there are 3 cups inside one container, but I'm not sure. Then again, cottage cheese was a favorite of mine before BB'ing; I eat it for more pleasure than I do for nutrition.

I buy 3 or 4 6-serving tubs at a time, if I'm lucky they get me through the week. Cottage cheese is great stuff

Thank you all!!!! That is very helpful... I just love the stuff and wanted to make sure there wasn't some weird dairy bb diet rule I was breaking... lol... I agree about variety. I eat tuna and chicken and salmon a good portion of the time but cc is just so friggen easy to eat and goes with everything (except chocolate protein powder as I discovered today! LOL GROOSSSS!!!!)
Thanks again! I also saw some great cc mix ideas on one of the other forums... SO excited about those!

The only "rule" you could be breaking is that it is pretty high in sodium. But as long as your drinking enough water that shouldn't really bother you much.
I go through (at least) 2 big tubs of it per week, love the stuff.
