Angry MONO at the worst possible time

I have been training/ eating clean since June. I just moved back to college this past weekend and have had mono for the past 2 1/2 wks! Going back to school, leaving my trainer and still having mono symptoms. Anyone ever had mono before? How did you deal with it in relation with lifting? I have continued to lift while I have it but just not increase my reps or weight. My progress (in terms of making gains) is at a halt for now bc I am just so tired. suggestions and advice from anyone would be greatly appreciated! I am sssoo motivated and loovee to lift All i wanna do is increase my lifts and its just not happening with this stupid infection

I have no experience with this personally, but I would think that you would either want to stop lifting all together or at least start taking some more days off? Hopefully others will know more.

mono definitely sucks...when i had it, i was way too exhausted to lift (very impressive that you are still able to lift). i just focused on eating clean (which was tough because i had been allowing myself a few cheat meals a week)...try to stay positive and get a lot of sleep!

I'll hit you straight with it: You are going down.

I went from [may 06]:
6'1"
210 lbs.
10% bf

To [december 06]:
6'1"
190 lbs
>15% bf!!

I lost all of my strength, motivation, and interest in everything. I had it bad.

If you really have teh Epstein Barr, give training up all together. Focus on diet and sleep. Trust me, YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM CANNOT HANDLE THE VIRUS AND TRAINING.

Diet and Rest.
