This is the soft and giggly kinda body fat right? What's the difference between this type and the hard "beer belly" type ?
Also, do this type of fat (soft and giggly) retain water alot easier?

Well, the SubQ fat is stored in front of your abs, the other..don't know what it is called off hand, is stored behind them, thats your beer gut.

you are referring to Visceral Adipose Tissue (VAT) which is stored in the cavities underneath muscle. Subcutaneous Adipose is stored between muscle and skin and is general found within the abdominal region in men.
