whats good everybody.. i am a civilian now.. bu i am a veteran.. i did 5 yrs in the army and been just about everywhere you can get deployed.. lol.. yll know how it is.. i ETS'd late oct 04 e-6 in 4 years.. not bad huh... either way its good to see some many soldiers airmen and marines and sailors in the iron game in here.. kepp up the good work.. and for those deployed .. be safe and come home..

US Army, going on 11 years this December. Took a 22 month break between 97 and 99 and got back in. Used to train like crazy, Got banged up a bit and have some disc damage, kinda limits the training. Getting back into the RIGHT way. Y'all take care.....

To the fellow powerlifters. I am a former competitor for USPF/IPF and armed forces from the 80's and 90's was selected for US TEAM in 1994/95
I just do strange lifts from powerfactor/static contraction, some powerlifting, bodybuilding and martial arts lifting from kung fu chin na/throwing plates, hitting on steel plates full force. I partial or 1/4 press modified leg press 2300lbs in 2002-2003 over 45 plates on a hoist legpress including/olympic bar.
Icarian hacksquat machine w/olympic bar, 38 plates at about 1915lbs 1/4 press, or partial press. Partial press on smith machine seated press 650lbs, 1/2 press 650 on smith machine decline press, held 460 lbs of deadlift for 35 seconds at 175-180lbs...weigh 195 now. I go lower on those lifts now but more reps.
Those are my unofficial non competing strange lifts. It's in connection with my expertise in martial arts/instructor, using jeet kuned do concepts.

weightlifting is 27 yrs serious, lifting since age 10, total 33 yrs.
pound per pound in many types of lifting, at a class of my own.
Powerlifting, there are women that can outdeadlift me, bench and squat from lower and heavier weightclass. check them out at their websites.
But OVERALL strength or multiple NON OFFICIAL or competition lifting, I'm at a class all by myself pound per pound male or female!!!
My lifting heroes are paul anderson, bill kazmeir, venus magnesun, arnold, lou ferrigno and my mentor bruce lee and jack lallane.
