from what i hear it can last up to 3 years. i'v had the stupid **** for about 2 & 1/2 years and it hasnt gone away. i used a prescription gel called andractim which is a DHT gel that makes it go away on some people and i though it was working for me but it really didn't it was all placebo for me anyways but a lot of people benefit from it. i can't stand this though it gets me so depressed and sometimes makes me want to say the **** with everything even bodybuilding because it kills confidence and how are you supposed to build yourself up a great body and then have this big friggin nipples and extra breast tissue. and no i can't get surgery my parents and all say it looks fine so basically it sucks

I'm gonna be 19 in June, and it still hasn't gone away. I'm gonna give that Andractim gel. What docotor do I go see to get a prescription for it? I think I'm also gonna try Lipo-Derm Ultra. Do I have to get a prescription for Lipo-Derm Ultra also? If not where can I purchase it? Thanks.

70-90% males get it during puberty, so its very natural..for the prescriptions maybe you can see your family doctor

gyno brought on by the hormonal imbalances from puberty. gyno is enlarged/puffy nipples (can get to the point of looking like female breasts...aka bitch tits).

I'm 26 and my puberty gyno still hasn't gone away completely. I was a fat guy at one time though, so my body is still adjusting. It's hardly noticable now that I'm down to 15% BF.

Yeah I'm not sure of my bodyfat%, but I'm pretty sure its probably like 24+ at least I think. Hopefully when i drop some fat, and put muscle, I'll get my bf% down lower and it can bo away. I have some puffy nipples, or area around the nipples is puffy, the darker area, the areola. Hopefully the gels will help some too. Gyno sucks

I was lucky enough not to have that, but on my right pec I have a piece of muscle tissue missing, and its right by the nipple towards the side of my chest, I hate it.

it sucks bad even if it is a minor case it can bother you a lot. drs say i have body dismorphic disorder and my chest is normal but i KNOW i have it because i can see and feel the gland underneath. that gel you can only get from a dr i think in the UK. I'm in the US and self-prescribed myself just like many many other guys on the www.gynecomastia.org boards by ordering it from www.allsaintsclinic.org

I've got the same problem, but I've been over-weight (and still am) , how much do you think weight has to do with the "bitch-tits", I was like 30 % BF when i started my cutting , even tough my sig is out dated I'm like 25-27% and weighing 120 kg's. Oh and another thing, will puberty Gyno. dissapear by it self or do you have to use some gels or such ?

It really varies from individual to individual. I'd say about 3 to 4 years would be the average. Until then, make sure you eat loads of fruit, veggies and drink gallons of water.

3 years from whatever age you first developed it. I developed mine about a month after i turned 14 ( i was a major pothead, we smoked everyday before school and after school, and in the summer aw man i was buying 1/8s of kindbud like every two sometimes three days and on top of all that drinking often too. it was like all we did was look to get ****ed up. i think that may have had somethin to do with my gyno, because i never knew before mj could cause gynecomastia.) i'm 16 now, 17 in august so if mines goin away it should be gone by around the end of this summer coming up but i doubt it..

Usually it goes away on it's own without any medication or surgery. Your androgen:estrogen ratio fixes itself to a normal range and the gland shrinks back up. Most boys it goes away or changes to a lesser degree but some it just stays. If you have "gyno" because you're fat it's not real gynecomastia; it's called psuedogynecomastia or "false gynecomastia" and is simply extra fat. real gynecomastia there is glandular tissue usually directly under the nipple on both or even one sides. BUT, if someone is reallly overweight that can cause an increase in estrogen and cause real gynecomastia. If you guys are really curious about all this stuff go to www.gynecomastia.org and click the discussion boards, lots of guys have this problem and most of them you can't even notice it

It is usually an increased level of estrogen, or a low level of testosterone (hypogonadism) or in the case of steroid abuse there is so much extra testosterone without anything to prevent the conversion from test to est, that the extra testosterone can get aromatazed into estrogen to help correct that ratio imbalance.

yup, no problem. goodluck with your cut...i'm trying to bulk now so hopefully that turns out well and i can cut and plus i figure if i get my shoulders/back/arms bigger and chest tighter but not necessarily huge, it will make the gyno not look as bad since everything else will be bigger

So c10d we can order the gels from that site? What do you mean self prescribed the gels yourself? I thought we had to get a doctor's prescription for the gels, but if I can just order it from that site then great! How much do these gels run? I really hate gyno. I'm not very confident it will go away with the gels and the other products

i meant self-medicate rather than self-prescribe. you have to submit information on yourself, and they will either give you the ok and send it to you or you may be denied. the place is in the U.K. i beleive, and it's not like some type of stupid miracle gel that clames to get rid of boobs, it's a real medicine, it's DHT hormone and it's illegal in the US thats why you won't get it from a doctor. It is very costly. I got two tubes and it was about $200 and sucks for me it didn't work. I can't tell you what to do with your situation, but i can suggest that you go to the website and read what they have to say, go to www.gynecomastia.org and post Andractim questions there, and go to google and just put in Andractim and research it a bit.

Damn, $200 bucks? Kind of steep, but it is a medicine nonetheless. Would you happen to know the percentage of people this Andractim gel worked for c10d? If it worked for a good amount of people that had pubertal gyno then I'll give it a try, if I see it didn't work for most of them, then IDK because 200 bucks is kind of steep right now, lol.

it was something like 75% of the people in a study had decrease in their gyno, and 25% had no effect at all. There was another study that was like 25% had a complete resolution. i saw the percentages on gynecomastia.org's discussion board.

well i was pretty husky wen i started werkin out but now im cutter so its not noticable as much but yu need to get a bigger chest and more definition lower dat body fat and it wont be as noticable
