    Why does working out make me feel like God?

    Hehe. it really does when i get into one of my workouts big time

    Anyone else notice a similar feeling? It makes me feel kind of drugged or something, kind of immortal like when i go and hit the weights real hard

    perhaps it is the brain releasing seratonin since the body is under stress....?

    It's certainly better than kids who get highs through taking bad drugs

    i dunno sometimes i think i am small, especially when i see kids who are bigger than me, it makes me really jealous and stuff Although sometimes i'll feel big and strong

    What makes me feel the most disturbed is when i see someone (Especially around my age) who is stronger than me.....that tends to hit me really badly

    Well in some ways i like it even though on the other hand i feel depressed, because it makes me lift even harder my next workout. If i didn't have that as a piece of motivation, my gains could indeed be curtailed.

    It shouldn't effect your gains negatively. Personally, I feel much more motivated when I'm the underdog, seems like you do too. But just ask yourself what the ideal version of yourself would do(the person you want to become), and do what you think he would do, no matter what the situation is.

    The thing about me is sometimes i feel small. Sometimes i feel big.

    Other people see me as a muscular kid, but sometimes my own viewpoint is distorted, very distorted.

    In my college, there are about 15 kids that i know by face who are stronger than me (Though they are probably older) If i see one of them it can add to that feeling

    But my arms are very close to 17 inches now, and i think realistically i am a pretty strong kid even though i don't always see that.

    I bench close to 300 pounds, but sometimes i ask, "well that other guy in the gym is benching 450 pounds for reps, and i can only do 2/3 of that, i must suck" But realistically i THINK at least that i have made excellent gains for 2 1/3 years of progress.....although sometimes my other side says that i am a weakeling

    Uhh ... that's what I live for! I live for the fact when I see a big dude, I can say to myself "bah, he's weak compared to me".
