Hey there, i recently got a PM saying that whey powder is bad for people my age... is this true? if so, please back up why.

It's bad for you if you eat a lot of it, ie more than you need. Fat isn't bad for you, but eating to much of it does pose a problem. Moderation is the key. But there is nothing inherently wrong with moderate consumption of whey supplements, unless you are lactose intolerant and it has lactose in it, or if you have any allegeric reactions to the amino acids/subfactions.

haha, thanks. thats what i thought.... i only take about 60g of powder a day. and only on training days. i was talking to my dad (whos a doctor), he said that if you were to take too much PURE protein, your kidneys may suffer. (when you are young you have a smaller chance of this. anyway, thanks for the help anyway.
