I know a lot of people on here don't agree with lifting twice a day, but recently I can't keep myself out of the gym. I love the feeling of lifting I love the results I'm seeing and it gives me my time alone and I feel so much better after working out. In college, I'm going to have a lot of free time and it wont be filled with partying and all of that junk. I've had enough of that life and want to stay healthy. But recovery is going to be the biggest problem with going in the morning and mid-day (which I'm guessing are the best times?). So, I will probably need more supplements to accomodate the stress on my body. Are these supplements in raw form added to my protein+creatine a good addition? Or is this too much?
Supplements taken right now:
Multi---Orange Triad
Pre---1MR (going to be switching to a non-stim)
Protein---4Ever Fit Fruit Blast - The Isolate
Creatine---ON's Micronized Creatine Mono.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SHOULD I ADD THESE?
---glutamine
---arginine
---citrulline
---beta-alanine
---fish oil
will rep for best advice.. thanks

The only problem I foresee is those results you love seeing, you won't be seeing as much of them if you work out so much.
Look under your chair. YOU GET A REP, AND YOU GET A REP, REPS FOR EVERYONE! If I get a rep, you get a rep, every time. Give me a link to make my life a little easier.
If you don't give me a link and you didn't post in the thread you rep'd me in, I'm not gonna go searching for you. I'll get everyone on recharge.

I heard they have really good flavors I think everybody talks about how the apple is so good.. I might try it after I give a look into the ingredients. thanks
well like I said I know it's a bit more than the norm but at the same time if I get good recovery products and enough sleep I don't see the problem...
Well food may be my friend but money isn't lol I'm plannin on carryin some plastic containers into the cafeteria and loadin up a couple times at the salad bar and get all my veggies in to my backpack for later use so I'm pretty much goin to be bankin on my vegetables and I can always go to kroger when they got some sales goin for some eggs and meat lol

Unless your "recovery products" include some syringes and vials of cell-tech you will burn out quickly. Muscle isn't built in the gym, it's built outside when you rest. Even the pros who are on so much help still only train once a day.
I used to have the same mindset as you, loved going to the gym everyday. I would go 6 out of 7 days a week and hated that 1 rest day. But then when I switched to a 3 or 4 day a week schedule my gains improved significantly. I know you're dead set on this and by all means do it, but you will not last long.Look under your chair. YOU GET A REP, AND YOU GET A REP, REPS FOR EVERYONE! If I get a rep, you get a rep, every time. Give me a link to make my life a little easier.

I'd def. at least make sure you have about 8 hours in between sessions. You're going to be putting a lot of stress on your body and although i don't agree with 2x a day like you said you just have to find what works for you. If 2x a day yields results then thats what works for you. Make sure you are getting A LOT of food and fluids all the time. Possibly double dose your multi throughout the day.

Major in Business Administration/Management.. I could do it with my eyes closed... anything with business is a breeze to me.. I love it and I have never studied a day in my life.. I have a 3.8 gpa so I probably wont start in college... Only thing I may have trouble with is any math/chemistry classes just because of the fact that its not needed and it bores me..
Well when I consider a cheat meal a couple lbs. of broccolli and carrots with cheese I'd say I am on a very bad path (you dont know me)... I enjoy eating healthy.. it's not a chore for me.. you mad? I really wish that if you would come to any of my threads again post some actual info that will be helpful... also have you ever tried working out twice a day? if you havent please get out and never show your face in another post of mine thank you.. bye

If you really struggle with having to train twice per day, i think its fine.
But you must understand that if you are going to train twice a day you might want to lift heavy in the morning and very very light at night. Like 15+ easy non burnout reps for each exercise at night. While in the morning you can train heavy.
So it could look something like this...
Monday:
morning- heavy chest
evening- light (very light) back
Tuesday:
morning- heavy legs
evening- light (very light) chest
ECT........................
Now even though these light things will give you nothing more than a pump, it might be beneficial to recovery, as long as you aren't pushing yourself to hard.
Either way, i would only train once per day. And maybe 3-4 times per week.:+)

Professional Powerlifters train twice a day. Eat very well, and make sure you take a nap.
