Is There a Site Telling You What Jobs You Can Get With a Cetain Major?
I'm majoring in Exercise Science, but I was wondering if there is a certain website that shows what jobs I could get with that major. Reps for a site.

He heard one guitar, just blew him away
He saw stars in his eyes, and the very next day
Bought a beat up six string in a secondhand store
Didnt know how to play it, but he knew for sure
That one guitar, felt good in his hands
Didnt take long, to understand
Just one guitar, slung way down low
Was one way ticket, only one way to go

You can get any kind of a job with pretty much any kind of a degree. I interned at Merrill Lynch this summer for a senior executive who runs the Rocky Mountain region and he earned a b.s. in english. Your undergrad isn't very important. Your grad school and grad school degree are what will determine what field you will work in...

I plan on going to Grad school, but I'd think I'd have to major in what I got my Bachelor's in.
Physical Thereapists get 71k in Louisiana according to BLS. I want something that is closer to, or more, than 100k

Start your own practice if you want to be able to earn more... And no, your undergrad degree doesn't determine what kind of a grad degree you can get. Your test scores (MCAT, GMAT, LSAT and etc), GPA, past work experience and etc are what admission officers look for. I have a good friend who is a year older than me who will be attending med school and didn't earn a B.S. in this field of study.

I like my major, but I've been recently thinking about my plan of being a Physical Therapist... I don't think that'd be best for me with my back pain, so I've been interested in learning what else I could do. I see Sport Psychologist, Chiropractic Physician, and Phsyician on there. I don't know much about the first two, but I'm interested in seeing what they're about. ES degrees own

I'm going to have straight A's once I get into the specifics of ES. I'm getting all the pre-reqs out of the way.

yea I got an A in one of my first EXS classes. It was awesome. For my exam all I had to do was perform a proper deadlift. Of course, that's just the basic stuff. I'm going to be starting on anatomy and physics this semester, and I heard anatomy is an extremely hard class.

A friend of mine just took that class, and he didn't do too well in it. I LOVE learning about the body, so I know I'll do well in it because I'm interested in it, so I'll study it a lot more.
What do you plan on doing after you graduate?

Cool we gotta stick together then... I took A&P last year... worst decision ever to take that class a Freshman... that class was harder than any class/education I ever took... way more material than Biology...

I'm hoping to do get an R.N (registered nurse) and work in a hospital. An advisor told me that with an R.N and an EXS degree you can basically walk into any hospital and start off at 50K a year. I want to do rehab work, but I'm keeping a lot of options open.

What makes the class so hard? I even hear my professors saying that it is easily the hardest class that the school has to offer.

Wait, how much schooling would I need after getting my ES degree to be an RN? I've SERIOUSLY been thinking about being an RN. My best friend's g/f is going to school to be a CPRN, and she's going to be starting at 120k
I could DEFINITELY be an RN

I'm not sure but I think I vaguely recall him saying either 17 credits or 17 classes. I know that it's a huge difference. Getting an R.N gives you so much more flexibility and puts you in demand. You could then work with physicians, cardiologists, PTs, etc.

Anatomy and Physiology, take it when you have some bio and related science under your belt, there will be a lot of heart, nerves, neurons etc...

The Material!! I have a good memory and understanding but, god there was so much material you forget/confuse whatever you DO know... for starters we had 50+ muscles to remember, their inervation, origin, action and insertion... it's hard to remember which muscle does what specifically while originating from this place and inserting in this place... it was hell

I'd imagine it being another 17 classes, but after I take the extra 17 classes/hours I would be a RN?! I definitely plan on going to Grad school too, so that would up my pay as well. I know being a nurse would be easier to do than a Physical Therapist while being in a wheelchair.

I've thought about being a RN but, how do you feel as a male being a RN? I just can't seem to get past that... no offense to you bro

Nothing wrong with men being RN's. RN's make really, really good money. Especially here in Louisiana because of the shortage. Nursing isn't hard either.

Meh, well the way I see it, I'll be the only guy around a bunch of girls all day, and at least some will be sexy. Also, I wouldn't be an ordinary nurse that delivers babies, etc. I'd be working more in rehab-related areas.
But honestly the money looks good and I'd be doing something that I actually like doing. I started off in a management major, and not only did it bore me half to death, but it was a major sausagefest. I'd rather be in something that I love with a bunch of girls than something that bores me with a bunch of dudes.

That's exactly why it really stands out to me... I've heard there's a shortage pretty much in the whole country... so that's a + there too and not to mention the baby boomers...

If I do decide to become an RN I'd probably chose to work at the rehab hospital I was in after my accident to give back to them for helping me so much. That hospital is a reason I'm doing as well as I am. Only thing is.... I'm not comfortable catheterizing other people!

I could DEFINITELY be an RN

I'd seriously take you up on that bro... That's exactly my way of thinking if I go down that path... this only broadens my career path
