Is it ok to take creatine and a thermogenic at the same time? I am taking GNCs Thermo Boost and today i bought mhps Trac. I was wondering if i should continue taking thermo boost while taking Trac. Would it be safe and/or effective to do this?
Thanks.

They would still be counter-productive.To be completely honest, NO is not that great it does gives some energy boost and expands and gives u pumps, the pumps fade away and you retain none of the gains. I think you should pick the one most benifical to you and use it.
**Iam assuming TRAC is an NO supplement correct? Not sure cuz in the thread title you said creatine, then it'd be a whole different story.**

It works for me
I actually use this combination when I'm dieting and I've had great results with it. I believe the creatine gives me the energy to lift heavy weights to keep stimulating hypertrophy even when my calories are restricted. I think thermogenics work better if you diet first, and then wait to take it until your bodyfat decrease starts to level off. It's possible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time (I've done it myself!!!), and the creatine thermo stack has been helpful for me.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that I don't take that specific product. I was trying to say that I have taken Creatine with Thermogenics while dieting and I have been happy with the results.
I took - and continue to take - creatine pre- and post-workout. I do this whether I am bulking or cutting, and my dosage is 10g (5g pre, 5g post). I use a creatine with an NO booster before hitting the weights, and I use a creatine transport aftwards. I have experimented with NO/Creatine both before and after my workout, and I don't notice any difference if I take an NO stimulant again after my workout. After all, isn't weight training the best way to stimulate Nitic Oxide production? Pre- and post-workout I use a whey isolate and simple carbs (maltodextrin & dextrose) and I throw about 5g of glutamine in each shake.
As far as the thermo goes, I have waited to take it until my fat reduction starts to level off. I'll check my bodyfat & measurements (and the mirror) every day when I have restricted calories. Once I hit a plateau, I then start taking a Thermogenic first thing in the morning before cardio, and right before weight training. It feels like I'm back on a regular diet again because I have so much energy, but I don't change my diet at all! The fat-loss resumes again until I'm where I want to be. Without showing favoritism to any brands, I'll just say that every thermo I've taken has grean tea extract and bitter orange. There's a lot of those out there, so you just have to choose which works better for you. And after the thermogenic starts to level off its effect, the only thing left I know how to do is water depleting. But by this time I'm so tired that all I want to do is eat a huge steak with potatos.Last edited by pumpkinhole; 02-10-2005 at 05:15 AM.

When im bulking heavily, i use EC preworkout for a boost, and creatine in my pre/during and post workout shakes.
I still get the weight gain from the creatine. You just end up drinking a ****load of water and pissing A LOT.Don't Support Companies that are suing me!!

Hmm I wouldn't call it so much counter-productive, but maybe both supplements lowering the maximizing effects of eachother, but still feeling some benefits of both. I am using CEX and Scorch right now, and I must say I am loving it. If your on creatine and your trying to lose weight (thermogenic), IMO most people will still get that energy and ability to maintain the same strength to lift heavier weights on a caloric deficit when taking the creatine. On the other hand, the creatine will bloat you in some way (whether it be small or big), which doesen't really make the thermogenic not work, because it is only water, and your trying to burn fat. Overall I would probably pick a CEE product over Monohydrate.
