Creatine & Whey Protein when dieting?

I am trying to drop 40lbs. I do an hour of cardio 3 to 4 times a week and lift on the weekends with 30 minutes of carido. My question is, would having creatine & whey protein shakes once a day take away from my goal of losing the weight?

no.....protein is your friend when cutting....try to get as much as possible. Creatine doesn't hurt you either.

I just started taking Higher Power Creatine and Optimum 100% Whey Protein.
There are not many calories at all; it's low in sugars, low fat and high protein. I really don't think they would hinder weight loss and your body probably needs them with all the training. The strawberry flavor tastes really good.

Here's the info for the whey:
