    Question how to do flat bench press to build size?

    just wonderin how to do flat bench to build size
    reps sets etc..
    i would like to do 3 sets but reps??

    Start out with around 10 reps, than decrease to around 6 to 8. Experiment with different rep schemes to see what works best for you...

    You should increase in weight every set but go down, pyramid style.

    For instance...

    75% ORM - 10
    80% ORM - 8
    85% ORM - 6

    hmmm

    First thing you should do to build size with flat bench is to turn your back the opposite direction of the barbell bench and walk directly over to the dumbbells.

    Thats where you can pack on the mass

    Also, I disagree about pyramiding. Thats good for breaking through a plateu, but for packing on mass just stick with straight sets. 6-8 reps......8-10 reps, just pick one and do it for a month or two. Then adjust the weight and shoot for a different rep scheme.
