Knocked up with 3 kids in 16 months and THIS is what I get....
STRETCHMARKS!
And they completely suck. I have them across my stomach and sides of legs (see pics). I was close to 160 lbs when I had the twins (@ 34 weeks gestation) and had my daughter 16 months later. That left for some pretty ugly stretch marks (as you can see from the attached pics).
Fast forward to today---twins are 3 years old and my daughter is 22 months. I'm playing around on the internet and read that Asianbabe was offering to send out her Java Lather soap that may actually reduce the appearance of stretch marks--like no duh, I jumped all over it. I haven't tried it yet--will start tonight but man, does it smell good. I hate coffee but the java smells wonderful!!
Just some start up stats:
Weight 109 (Coming off a virus, I'm usually around 114-116lbs)
Height 5'3"
I typically take a bath 2-3 times a day. That maybe too much information but for the sake of a soap log, it's important.
Will report in tomorrow

Wow, really?
Baths are really time consuming.
Anyway, good luck, Suzie.

And thxs!

Great start suzie! What were your first impressions?
You're an aerobics instructor? I completed a course in fitness (aerobics) instruction not too long ago, but haven't had the chance to really pursue it. I always admire the energy they all have

Hey so glad you asked b/c I was about to post.
I used the soap last night and this morning (twice). First, the smell is awesome. I really HATE the smell of coffee but the Java smells GOOD. Really good to the point you want to eat it. (:lol). Another good positive is the lather. Really is full of suds!
If I'm searching for a negative, the first time I used it it had alot of rough spots on the edge that actually hurt when I put it on my skin but after the first use, the rough sides are now much smoother.
I typically only use Oil of Olay Liquid Soap to shower with b/c I wash so much I over dry my skin and it's just easier than a bar soap (esp when you shower at a gym--just easy to transport a bottle vs a bar of soap) so I am curious to see if my skin dries out or not. Oil of Olay is "oily" enough to keep my hydrated. I would be curious if you could make Java Lather in a liquid soap form. Bar soaps just aren't as popular with women. (Can't comment much for the men.)

Yes, I teach aerobics about 4x a week, yoga 3x a week, I'm a personal trainer at Gold's Gym and also I am a gymnastics and cheerleading coach twice a week. No lie, I have the AWESOMEST job(s) on earth. And I have learned that the field I am in works best for those of us that were the annoyingly happy cheerleaders with way too much energy and ADHD--it works for you as an adult. :lol You should pursue it if you can! Let me know if you need help with certifications, etc! PM, would love to discuss.
OH FORGOT TO ADD, I'm getting a breast augmentation Aug 29 under arm so after 2 wks, doc okayed me to use the soap. I will be curious to see if it helps lighten a new scar. I seriously do not want to be teaching an aerobic class and have to explain to some moron that the two lines under my arm pits are from getting boobs, not from cutting myself shaving. Hear is hoping I don't get a scar in the arm pits!

hey suzie, I can see how it might be a bit of an inconvenience if you need to take it around with you. Good news is that we've got the liquid version done so hopefully we'll be able to bring it to the market soon.
BTW, how much does it cost for a BA? I assume it is quite popular over there?

LOL Nice try--but no. I'll post some pics but with clothes on. I'm modest I don't even wear stomach showing stuff at the gym.

Great news about the liquid. Very exciting!
I assume it depends on what part of the USA you are in but for silicone and a two night hospital stay is $4400.00 here.

Yep, just a ziploc bag for now. It works
How long is the soap suppose to last? I think mine will last 1-2 more weeks. I know I use it more than the average person, but it is getting small quickly.
The soap continues to smell good and has a great lather. I was worried it may stain my tub with it being dark in color (I have an antique bath tub) but I have had no problems.
Here are my pics. They were taken one week after the first, same room/same time of day to try to keep the lighting the same. No difference I can see but of course, I have HUGE UGLY stretchmarks so I wasn't expecting them to disappear in a week.

For those of you who didnt like the rough exfolliation our new suspension base works much better and it distributes the coffee through the bar. So you don't get that rough side

Not sure how I missed this log. I agree, great title.
Anxious to see your final results as well, as helping heal stretch marks on women was an important part of the product design.
Java Lather: Liquid Lava bottles arrived today, and we are hammering out a beta label right now.

Yep--Finally I'm back to normal--or shall we say--a little bigger up top! I'm getting back to the gym but I can only lift about half of what I used to. Doc said just to give it a while since the implants went through my arm pits.
I haven't received any soap and I've been out of soap for at least a month now. (ECK!)
I hope everyone has seen dramatic results
