    Lateral Raises or Military Press first?

    I normally do military press first since it's a compound movement, but I was watching Cutler's video and he said he always did a lateral raise movement first..

    Hm....what do you guys do?

    I usually do military or arnold first. Actually, I do all my presses before laterals.

    Cutler does that to pre-exhaust the muscle before he moves on to a bigger compound movement. This is to ensure that his shoulders reach failure before his triceps do.

    yeah i noticed a lot of pro bbers do this. i guess if your medial heads are not a strong point, why not hit it first before it gets tired from presses? i guess it would be nice to switch your routine up
