Ouchh. Knee hurting after squats
Even when doing low weight squats, I get pains in my knee, like it wants to "blow up" or just pop out of place. Is there any braces or anything, I can wear when doing them to help this?

You could always try with a bandage or cloth and strap around.

Are your knees and feet pointing in the same direction (about 30 degrees outward)?

focus on pushing only through your heels, make sure knees stay straight and aligned. they are probably just getting old, alot of teens have knee problems, including myself. it sucks. light running can warm them up

I used to get heaps bad pains in the knees with squats but I've been doing a few pretty light sets of Seated leg curls before doing squats and it's helped a lot.

make sure your knees arent caving in with the weight. mine used to do that...to prevent it, unlock your knees and slightly push outward with them, so you get low, but your knees dont cave in and you dont risk injury

i;d check your form. you can easily mess your knee up badly.
my friend has knee problems from football and he uses tk knew bands. i tried them on one time, and does really help out a bit.

How deep are you going? My knee never gives me any trouble going parallel, but anytime I go ass to grass my right knee feels like its going to explode.

Try ATG squats. For me they strain the knee joints much less the parallel.
I started taking a little Glucosamine/MSM, (my mom uses it, arthritis joint pains) and was feeling no more to very little joint pain in any of the exercises I did.

If your knee hurt going parallel why would it stop hurting by putting more stress on it?

To each his own, for me, when doing squats to parallel, you stop in the middle of the movement, putting more stress on the knees. When you go ATG, you get a fuller range of motion, more stress on the buttocks and less on the knees.

you are actually putting on less stress when you go a2g but you will have to take some weights off.

Um, the lockout is when there is the LEAST amount of stress on your knees...

no, when you do PUSHING excercises with ALOT of weight, you should not lock out because it puts alot of stress on youre joints(elbows/knees), its more worse if you hyper extend....

What a load.
When you are at the lowest point on your squat, that is when there is the most stress on your knees, see: torque on your knees.

Can that hurt when you walk?
Think I might have that. It's weird because when I run sometimes and squat it doesn't hurt but pain can come and go, even if I only walk. :/

Squat deep, minimise bounce, keep knees over the toes and dont let them buckle.
