    V8 good vegetable substitute?

    I was wondering if some V8 juice would be a good vegetable substitute (as eating cold brocoli at lunch is rather disgusting!) thanks for your input!

    what about possibly getting a juicer (damn things are expensive! esp. on students budget!) and putting in vege's?

    Not a good one, but it is convenient and a lot better than most choices presented to us in real life. Eat your veggies when you can, they are important. Drink a V8 when your drink choices are limited. I drink one almost every day. (It does have high sodium. If that matters to you, then don't drink it. If not, enjoy. Still eat your veggies.)

    Jucing veggies is not the best idea too. Something about destroying the enzymes. Learn to embrace them.... i did, well not really.

    You eat veggies for the fiber. The Vitamins and Minerals are just an added benifit. So no, V8 isn't a good substitute unless you are mixing in lots of fiber additive.
