    If i only eat like 2000 cals a day, how do i make muscle?

    To make muscle u need to eat alotta cals, but if im trying to cut fat by eating only 2000 cals a day and working out, how will i see results if i dont make muscle?

    well im not quite "ripped" but i think i have a good level of tone.

    i wanna gain 15-25 poounds of muslce.....half of that on my legs...other half up top.

    and then rip my stomach.

    If youre getting enough protein you shouldnt lose muscle, just make sure youre eating enough carbs and healthy fats to make sure your stored fats have a way of getting burned

    It IS possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time. As you put on muscle your body needs to burn more calories to maintain itself. A lot of those calories will come from carbs, but a good amount will also come in the form of fat.

    Thanks man, ya what kind of things do u think i should eat, how do i know how many carbs such n such is or how much fat is in this or how much protein is in what, and all that?
