This is in no way insulting men, it's just an observation, and would go the same way as women.

It seems like many of you talk about these needy, unintelligent women and how you are sick of them.
Do you think it's because those are the women you have been dating, or most likely to ask out. And the reason for this is that they need a man, aren't very independent and are "easier" to ask out and date. Meaning...intelligent, independent women are more likely to say "no" to you if you ask them out...and would be more independent when you were dating them. They are overall more intimidating. Think about it this way....you say you hate needy women.....but would you want someone who is independent and doesn't rely on you for everything. Would it bother you if she didn't call you all time and socially had a life outside of you. Or, would that make you jealous and insecure about the relationship.

There are many annoying, whiny, dumb, needy women in the world....but there are women who have high-paying jobs and don't rely on a man.

There seems to be a shortage of women who are down to earth, and are not ultra-sensitive. I have run across too many insecure, jealous women in my time. I mean insecure to the point where it starts arguments, and creates dysfunctional relationships. Where are all the women who aren't emotional wrecks? I have had my share of arguments with women who insist on "reading between the lines" and over complicating simple issues. Men usually are simple creatures - we usually say exactly what we mean. I was raised to believe that behind every great man is a great women. Men and women need each other to survive. Example is I need my husband to work and pay the bills. Without him we wouldnt have our home, cars ect. I, in return take care of the home and kids while he is at work. It is society that is raising our girls to be the way they are. If you dont like it than maybe you should make a point of raising your children differently when the time comes. I like my man to be in charge, I feel more secure that way.
