New home workout routine - Critique please...
Hey guys,
Been a while since I posted here!
OK, so... My gym recently closed down without warning, so I've been forced to start working out at home again. I have limited equipment, so can't do things like squats or incline bench pressing, things like that... But a few of the things I can do are listed in my workout routine below.
If you're wondering why I've only written set amounts by three exercises so far, I'm still reviewing the others. The gym I was previously attending only had machines and a small selection of dumbbells, so I've kinda gotten out of the feel of using anything else. Used to be a heavy-compound-free-weights man only!
The equipment I have is as follows... One EZ Bar, one straight bar, a couple dumbbell bars, a flat bench with a permanently attached barbell rack, a preacher bench, and a selection of plates... There are probably some other things somewhere else, but that's all I can think of for now.
Anywho... What I'd like is for everyone to give me their objective take on my current routine, suggesting anything I could change, switch up, or whatever, as I want to get the best out of what I can!
Chest:
Supine Barbell Bench Press - 6 sets
Biceps:
EZ Bar Curls - 3 sets
Close-Grip EZ Bar Preacher Bench Curls - 3 sets
Triceps:
REVIEW!
Forearms:
Wrist Curls
Reverse Wrist Curls
Traps:
Seated Dumbbell Shrugs
Upright Barbell Rows
Shoulders:
Military Press
Lateral Raises
Thanks, guys.
DP.

Can't do squats with the equipment I have. F**ked up my back with deads and was told to keep off them. Could do step-ups, though...

I could do them with dumbbells, sure. Wouldn't want to use the barbell without a squat rack or something, though.

To be honest, I'm not desperately worried about my legs, as it's everything else that needs to catch up with THEM!
How does the rest of the routine look, anyway?

What about Back - you said you messed it up, but just go really light. Do bent over BB rows or Bent over DB flyes. Also, skullcrushers with the E-Z bar for Triceps and DB one arm or two arm extensions.
