OT - Private Messages

Is it just me or are other people here getting odd Private Messages lately? I am getting messages from people I don't know and they just say things like, "IM me on AOL" etc.

It's SPAM! Ignore it or report it to the mods. There's already been one "female" (maybe she is, maybe she's not) that's been banned doing the same thing on another forum. Her IM's led straight to a pay-per-view webcam site.

And no...I didn't bite. There's a thread in the Misc. Forum.

Thanks. I have been ignoring it. I was just curious why I was suddenly getting these. It hadn't hapened before. And why would girls target women?

Anyway... No biggie, I was just curious as I have had 4-5 in the last 3 days when previously I had none. Must be my new perfume!
