ive been lifting for a year and have seen good gains my bench went from like 150 and im currentyl benching 210 and i weigh 175.....i kind of have a lil gut i was goin to start running and get more cut and lose it but didnt wanna lose my strength on benchin and all the other exercises....if i started to run will i lose my strength

if you do both no!! it shouldnt at all as long as you keep benching and after you finishing benching start doing ab wurkouts also if you havent
