    abs frequency

    Hi guys,

    I have a question, I have a little stubborn fat, just a pinch. Some ppl say i need to let my abs recover and only work out twice a week maxx. Others say that abs are teh fastest recovering muscle and should be performed 3-5 times a day. Whats the most effective method?

    Abs are like any other muscle, you can't work them everyday. Just go 3-4 times a week and no more. And go every other day so you have a day inbetween to rest them.

    Every other day is just great. But soreness goes off the abs a little quicker than other muscle groups. That's correct.

    I think we all need better Abs exercises, that actually make them sore for more than a few hours IMO.

    working your abs is not going to do anything about the "pinch" of fat.

    if you want that to go, then your diet has to be perfect

    You can do abs more than once a week i do them 4 times a week 2 exercises 4 sets weighted and free and seen great results also a diet can help overall...

    Highly simplified of course, but by determining your caloric needs, intaking less/eating cleaner to lose body fat while exercising, or eating the same or more to gain lean muscle mass while exercising.
