    After stopping creatine?

What happens if one was to stop taking creatine after say a month or so? The water retention would stop, right? Also would i lose my muscle that i have gained when on creatine, after stopping it??

This has probably been asked before, but i couldn't find anything about it.

Why would you stop your cycle after a month? Creatine can be used for up to 6 weeks....you probably will see some water weight dropped, as for muscle, depends on your genetics and body type. I dont lose hardly a pound after a creatine cycle.

    You should cycle creatine

Cause youre body get used to it and you won't see any results plus after 6-8 weeks youre muscles are full of creatine and after 8 weeks youre only wating money

when u stop using creatine, you won't lose any muscle you've gained on the supplement, but as you said water retention will decrease, and also some of the strength gains you made while on creatine may disappear

If you want it to continue you working, you cycle it. That's common knowledge. It like any other supp. And why would you stop taking creatine and start taking ribose? Its more effective when you combine them.

I only want to take it for a short while, because i don't feel like spending the cash to keep me cycling creatine for years.

    I'm just cheap =P

I agree that creatine should be cycled but i think its cycled best when you stay on for 12 weeks off for 3-4. Thats when i have always gotten my best results and same for my friends. JMO though.

    Re-loading

I read somewhere here on bb.com that just loading again after 6-8 weeks can be as effective as going off it for a while. Anyone tried this?

And how exactly does it "continue working" after the loading phase?

The phase that follows the loading phase is called "maintenance" for a reason. This is also the same reason that creatine doesn't need to be cycled.
