What to eat?
I'm so fat and I have tried and tried to loss weight with walking and eating right but that was when I was at home 7 yrs ago, my mom would cook my healthy food for me so now here's the thing, I cant cook worth a crap and my wife is addicted to going out to eat all the time so what to do? I need to figure out what to buy from the store to keep at the house that I can cook myself but not make my kids suffer. If any one can give me an idea on food and cardio that I can do in my home because I have to watch my little ones at night while my wife works so I cant just jog around the block. Thanx!!!

Cottage cheese,
frozen vegetables,
meats of various type (you better be able to cook this - I am vegetarian and can still cook some mad steak if I wanted)
canned tuna,
fruits,
oatmeal,
cereals,
yogurt,
low-carb wheat tortillas,
lowfat cheese,
eggs,
etc

if u can stick turkey in the george foreman, open a tin of tuna/salmon, open cottage cheese, cook eggs, pour olive oil into a tablespoon, stick veggies in a pot of boiling water/steamer, your all set. theres nothing else you really need.
the 'cooking' most people refer to always involves adding unnecessary ****.

Exactly.. =P
I can cook.. but it's usually some insanely delicious high calorie meal.
Like lasagna or something..

Do you want results? Then:
Buy a treadmill
Buy lean meats, fibrous veggies, good fats
Teach your wife to cook healthy! Why eat out and eat god knows what??
Be consistent
Peace

For real. Don't get any better than this.
Actually, lift weights too. Four times a week, 3 day or so split. Then that ****'ll come off.

Aside from purchasing 'healthy' foods to store in the house for yourself... make sure you KNOW an adequete portion/serving size per meal.
Just because it's healthier than your average household food item doesn't mean you can eat MORE of it.
the higher the calories you intake and the less caloric expenditure... cliched... you gain weight.
Also.. I tend to go by expiration dates. If it expires quickly... less preservatives... and most likely healthier. I like Whole Foods Supermarket. a lot. Better quality foods.

That's a great point Rob. Portion control is vital. You'll be amazed how long certain items such as milk, oats, and rice can last you once you start measuring by the serving instead of eyeballing.

Step 1) Buy steak
Step 2) Buy non stick cooking spray
Step 3) Preheat oven to 300
Step 4) Put meat on pan after spraying non stick spray
step 5) Put in oven for 20-30 minutes
Step 6) EAT
Step 7) Save what you don't eat for a latter meal.
