Hey Everyone...
I have been reading the forum for four months now and haven't really posted. Generally, i do a search and try to find the answers instead of repeating a question for the 1000th time.
Well, I couldn't find the answer to this one...
Do I risk negative side-effects (hair loss, nut shrinkage) with 1-Test? Would I be safer with Nor-Diol?
I just cut down (40lbs, 5 inches from waist) and added some muscle. Now I would like to add more muscle. At the end of July, I will start a bulking diet and am considering a prohormone or prosteroid, though not sold on them yet.
I am:
31 years old
6' 1"
180lbs
Thanks, and I apologize if this has been asked already. I read through hundreds of posts and couldn't find it.

Well the answer is on here, because I just explained it yesterday to a kid, but oh well. To answer your Q, it's different for everyone. Some ppl may not get sides, while others may get em all. Most ppl take a test recovery supplement post cycle to raise the normal test levels back up. I've also seen people say they take anti-estrogen pills and even rogaine during their cycle to help minimize sides.
P.S. Sounds like you know about the sides as hair loss and nut shrinkage are definetely two of the culprits.

1-test is a strong androgen and for those that are seriously worried about hairloss, I would suggest not using it. First off though, you need the genetics for hairloss. If you have not lost any hair by now there is a chance it will pass you by, at least for the time being. Nordiol is of course the best option if you absolutely want to get in on the prohormone scene but are worried about androgen side effects. Although, most will suggest using 1, 4andro along with it which does have a chance for androgen side effects, but they are pretty darn low, especially when you are only using like 350mgs. It's also expensive as hell, so you might want to rist using 4diol instead. I received great results on a 4diol transdermal...in only a 6 week cycle. No side effects either. There is a chance of course, but it is also pretty low. Long story short; if you can afford nordiol, go for it.

Youngunz PLMK your opinion on if following PH falls into the category of low side effect(hair loss)risk:
Kaizen's Cyclo-Nordiol
Supplement facts:
19-Nor-4-Androstene-3,17 diol 25 mg
Cyclodextrin 225 mg
I picked a bottle up,Kaizen stated hair loss is not an issue with it because DHT is not invlolved but....since I am already losing my hair due to genetic MPB I want to be fully sure.I'm going to end my creatine cycle next week and I'm considering using this for 2 weeks while off creatine. If it gives me a solid kick I'll stay on it for more than 2 weeks when I plan to start another creatine cycle....that is if it's not going to make me shed like a dog.

The thing about 1-Test is that it itsself can bind to the androgen receptors in the scalp and cause hairloss. I other words, it can make you lose hair even without DHT conversion. So it can potentially aggravate hairloss significantly if you are predisposed to it. Even though I haven't lost any hair yet at 25 years old, I am scared of hairloss since my mother's father was bald before he hit 30. Since I am scared of hairloss, I opted to do a cycle of Nor-Andro Spray instead of 1-Test during my bulking cycle this winter. I think that it helped my gains and strength quite a bit and had absolutely no effect whatsoever on my hair. So I would say that nor-diol is definitely a better choice than 1-Test for someone who is worried about hairloss.

With a nordiol transdermal I do suggest thowing in some oral 1, 4andro. I would like to hear your results, keep us informed.

VPX 1-test
I've got a few questions about VPX's 1-test supplement, specifically about side effects. They advertise on their site there is no aromatizing, etc. what im curious is if its true, as well as if there is a risk of hair loss, and how long i should use the product before worrying about hair loss and other side effects, as well as any other side effects that may accompany use of their product. Any help would be great, thank you.

1-test is 1-test whether from vpx or another company. I think they've already mentioned the sides, but once again they are
1. since 1-test is a dht derivate it doesn't convert to dht, but it can aggravate hairloss by itself.
2. it doesn't aromatize, so it can't cause estrogen induced gyno, but some people have reported prolactin induced gyno.
3. acne is a given whenever you mess with your hormones.Last edited by the_invince; 09-13-2004 at 06:46 PM.
