    How Often Should You Train Your Legs????

    Probably the most straight forward question to a bodybuilder but i play soccer saturday and sunday also cardi on on tuesday but how often should i train my legs to see results a week???

    Also If anyone can list the most effective work out for your quads hams and calves thanx ...

    ass to grass squats, leg curls(or sldl), seated calf raises

    i can only train mine once a week for now. just started. probably going to up it to once every 5 days

    I think once a week is fine if your doing heavey squats.

    There is no need to perform your squats "Ass to grass". I personally find it dangerous, you dont need to go down that far. I would say that just below parallel is best, parallel is fine for most.

    Best quad movements are:

    Squats
    Hack Squats
    Leg press
    Lunges
    Extensions

    Hams:

    Curls
    Stiff leg deads

    Calves:

    Standing raises
    Seated rases

    Train your legs once per week, possibly mid week for you, to avoid overtraining and allow for recovery.

    okay cheers people i think i will start doin it once a week like mid week like you said how long does recovery take on legs ??? soccer and cardio aint enuff for legs so i need to add leg day to my trainin or come summer will look a bit out of propotion

    if u r just starting legs i would give it like a full week to recover....my legs stayed sore for like 8 days when i first started hitting them right

    I have one leg day a week, but i do deads on back day. So my legs get worked twice a week, once a lot and once as 2ndary muscles. When i first started lifting my legs would get ridiculously sore, now they just are slightly sore after leg day.
    A2tG Squat = 315 x 4 (350 x 1)
    Deadlift = 315 x 5 (350x1)
    Bench Press = 195 x 6 (??? x 1)

    The only way that a person should go lower then parellel is if it is not comprimising there form. Leeburn only go past parellel if you can maintain good form. If you can't do it with good form then don't do it

    Legs are pretty important when it comes to training. Try doing them 1-2 times a week.

    There is little to no advantage to going more than a few degrees lower than parallel. It isnt worth the risk.
