Low Carb

I've been eating approx. 100 carbs a day, approx. 31 grams of that is fiber. Just wondering if that is considered "low carb". My goal is fat loss. I'm used to hearing about the atkins type of low carb which is like 20 carbs a day or something crazy.

I'm also wondering what is the best way to start adding in more carbs once I reach my goal so that I don't start putting the weight back on?

Thanks!

I'd say that is relatively low carb depending on your stats. I am doing the same and keep to between 50-100 g a day. I have found this to be successful as I am coming off competition diet and didn't want to gain quickly by shocking my bod with carbs. Only gained back 4 lbs as I was totally depleted on comp day.

As for reintroducing carbs to tell you the truth I think this is more a lifestyle choice now and not just a quick-fix-lose-it diet. As least for me.
I have realized I am way to carb sensitive to go back. It's what packs on the pounds for me that's for sure.

I figure if I can bulk for 4 months, cut for 4 months now I will try this for atl east 4 months and see how I feel.

I agree, me too and same here. My diet plans never consist of more than 30% of my calories from carbs which equates to no more than 200g of carbs a day. And right now I'm keeping myself right around 100g a day to maintain my current physique. Carbs make me fat too. And I can't do higher carb/low fat otherwise my appetite is FAR WORSE. I seem to do best on lower carb/higher fat, I'm even gaining muscle now on my current low carb 1800 calorie diet.

It's really crazy, I've been doing this particular diet since April and initially dropped down to 132 lbs for ONE day, ever since then, my weight has slowly been creeping back up and it's back now to what it was when I STARTED my cut in February! But yet my definition remains the same and my body fat still calipers out at 18%! So I've managed to gain muscle on my CUTTING DIET!!! I'm really stoked about that one! But at the same time, it sucks that I can never go back to eating a lot of carbohydrates like I used to and I LOVEEEEE carbohydrates!! Oh well, can't have my cake and eat it too, heh.
